HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Ask your friend to help you measure!

Measuring for tops:

T1. Wrap a soft tape measure around your bust. Take it around your back, across your shoulder blades and under your arms. It should wrap around the fullest part of your bust. The tape should be straight and parallel with the floor. Don't pull to tight to prevent having your boobs squeezed to tight!

T2. Place the tape measure around your chest. Wrap it so that it rests just under your bust, where your bra band would sit. Record the measurement.

TIP! Wear soft cup bra while measuring.  Specialy if you have bigger boobs. This will make measuring so much easier!

Measuring for Shorts:

S1. Waistline. The narrowest part, between your rib cage and belly button. Do not hold your breath or suck your stomach in!

S2. Waistline. Hip bone height where you the waistband of the shorts will be.


S3. Measure your rise. The distance from the front top of shorts to the back top, passing between your legs. Gently and loosely pull the tape between your legs and over your crotch, keeping the other end positioned at the center front Ensure that your measurement allows a bit of room in the critical area ;). 
 

S4. Bum-the widest part. This is usually located 7 to 9 inches (17.8 to 22.9 cm) below your natural waist. Be sure to prevent yourself from drawing it too tightly.

S5. Measure your thigh. Wrap a tape measure around the thickest part of your thigh. Keep it parallel to the floor and taut, but do not pull so tight that it digs into your flesh. 

S6. The seat height - Measure from the top of the waistband at the back, down to the lower edge of the buttock. (not shown on the picture)

TIP! Wear your favourite shorts or panties for measures S3 and S6!

Measuring for Leggings:

Please add ALL the measurements for shorts plus:

L1. Measure your calf. Wrap a tape measure around the thickest part of your calf. Keep it parallel to the floor and taut, but do not pull so tight that it digs into your flesh. 

L2. Measure your ankle. Wrap a tape measure around your ankle. Keep it parallel to the floor and taut, but do not pull so tight.

L3. Measure your inseam. Measure the inside leg. Ask your friend to use a tape measure to measure the length of your leg from your ankle up to the bottom of your crotch. You should be standing with your leg straight while this is done.

TIP! For ALL measurements its best if you could ask your friend/mum/dad/sister/brother/boyfriend/girlfiend/neighbour or random stranger from the street to do it for you ;). This way measurements would be more accurate.
