Agata Jurago-Pach and her journey from office job as an architect to entrepreneur and creator of unique pole wear.

Every story has its beginning, this one starts in early nineties, when teenage Agata scribbles her first fashion designs.

Her fascination with fashion leads her to create outfits for her dolls and soon after for her friends and family. Her wardrobe to this day is full of vintage finds and it's treasure chest for her friends needing help before every party or important event.

Finishing her studies and earning masters degree in architecture allowed her to commune with fine design and modern applied art.  

However, it soon turned out that office work offers too little flexibility, and Agata needs it, maybe just a little less than her beloved motorcycle trips.

After finding OG polers Alethea Austin and Karol Helms on YouTube, Agata signs up for her first Pole Dance class. Initially purely as a hobby, participates in Pole Dance classes but is unable to find any outfits in Poland that meet her expectations. Since fashion has always been great part of her self-expression, she decides to design and sew them with the help of a befriended seamstress.

Decision to create SWAY, a brand that today offers high-quality, luxe outfits, for people looking for comfortable outfits that provide freedom of movement during pole dancing, but also yoga practice and gym doesn't come overnight.

Week pass on searching for right fabrics, trims and refining first designs.

Agata tests each outfit o and off the pole, till this day. Are they comfortable enough, fitting well, feel nice to touch?

Thanks to pole she finds new friends in Poland but also, UK and Ireland. So she can get all the help she needs to make sure her outfits will stand the test and BOY, they did!

First collection is launched in 2015, and each piece is made individually for each customer after putting an order.

Sway gets great feedback and makes Agata invest more and more time into building her brand so after two years she decides to quit her office job as an architect and jump head first into fashion world.

Today SWAY is well established pole wear brand known around the world for its high quality, unique design and pro-ecological approach to production. It's also ahead of the game when it comes to fashion forward cuts, influencing other brands. 

Agata is still hooked on pole quite literally. As a part time pole instructor and full time entrepreneur. She absolutely loves her job and supports pole dancers around the world.

After hours she enjoys simple pleasures of knitting, gardening and drinking drip coffee, preferably with fruity tasting notes.

She chooses the fabrics carefully and does not turn a blind eye to their origin. The costumes are made with regenerated nylon ECONYL® , obtained from waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world.

Fabric used in laungewear is made from sustainable viscose, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy.

Agata teamed up with Monika, skillful pattern designer, whose expertise and experience, allows to bring the most daring ideas to life.

SWAY outfits allow you to feel comfortable in your own skin. While creating your pole piece, music and choreography plays important role but its the outfit that can change the way you feel in an instant giving you more confidence on and off the stage.

And is The Outfits that can release parts of your personality that are sometimes hidden in your everyday life.

Outfit can awake the senses and spark the imagination. Straight from the design board to studio and stage, so that each person on pole can look at the mirror with the admiration.

Although design process can take up to six monts, Agata never complains for the lack of inspiration. Fashion shows, talking with dancers but also lingerie shopping can bring new ideas. Established in 2015, SWAY still grows will bring you many more fascinating designs.
